Max Randal is currently studying piano performance under Karen Ann Krieger at the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. In addition to a solo repertoire including Chopin's Sonata No. 3, Rachmaninoff's Concerto No. 3, Stravinsky's Three Movements from Petrushka, and Liszt's Sonata in B minor, Max has established a reputation as a collaborator, working with chamber ensembles and vocalists in recitals and master classes. He is also a bass in the Vanderbilt Chorale and an organ student of Dr. Polly Brecht. Along with his studies, Max is a Content and Engineering Consultant for Edify Technologies (developers of MusiQuest) and serves as the Minister of Music at Hillwood Presbyterian Church in Nashville. Outside of music, Max is also studying computer science, and enjoys distance running, with a recent first place finish in the Nashville Marathon.
