Phelicia began her harp study under the tutelage of Dr. Joy Yeh at age 5. After just 6 months, she competed at the Vancouver Kiwanis Music Festival and won First Place in the Celtic harp division (gr 2). Due to her outstanding mark, she was awarded the "Rising Star Scholarship for Age 6 and Under" by the festival. Currently, Phelicia is preparing for her grade 2 Royal Conservatory of Music Exam. She is also a happy member of the Vancouver Bach Children's Choir.
