Nicolas Lin is in the 8th Grade and studies violin with Elizabeth Faidley. Nicolas has performed in masterclasses with acclaimed violinists such as Lisa Batiashvili, Ray Chen, Augustin Hadelich, and Rachel Barton Pine. Currently, Nicolas is a section leader in the Elite Academy Orchestra, as well as the Violin Virtuosi, which toured in Europe in June 2019. Nicolas has soloed with the Washington Heights Chamber Orchestra in 2017, and the International Music Organization Orchestra of New York in 2019. Nicolas was winner in the International Music Organization of NY in 2019, the East Coast International Music Competition in 2017, and the Prima Volta Music Competition in 2017.
