km² is an ”unique” duo formed by Slovenian accordionist Manca Dornik and Finnish percussionist Kalle Hakosalo. Found in the summer of 2017, they were brought together by the passion of creating new music for their instrumental combination by collaborating with composers, as well as promoting the existing repertoire. They've performed in Finland, Denmark and France, have been invited for artistic residencies in Strasbourg (FR) and New York (US) and received 2nd prize in ENKOR Music Competition. They’ve collaborated with composers such as Tapio Nevanlinna, Uros Rojko and Annette Schlunz.
