Katherine Vandermel loves to listen and share music with others. A performer herself, she began singing more at the age of 10, where she was cast as the female lead in her school’s musical production. Since 7th grade, she was introduced to classical music and has since been exploring this realm. Katie has sang at many venues as a result of winning numerous competitions and performing in recitals, including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Kaufman Music Center, Greenfield Hall, Alice Tully Hall, the National Opera Center, as well as many churches, schools, and senior homes. Katherine enjoys attending concerts and music festivals, and looks to further her studies for the years to come.
