Charlie Lee
Charlie Lee is a 6th grader at Lakeside School and he started playing the cello at the age 4. At the Performing Arts Festival of the Eastside in past years, he has received several awards, culminating in his performance in 2019, when he received three awards: Best of Divisions-Outstanding Performance in Cello, 1st place in Concerto Division, and 1st place in Solo Division. He has received Seals of Recognition in both Concerto and Complete programs in the Seattle Young Artists Music Festival. In 2018, he won Best Sound in the Elementary Division of the Simon-Fiset Competition. He is a recipient of Carlsen Cello Foundation, and currently studies with Seattle Symphony cellist Nathan Chan.
