Brandis Ajay’s journey as a classical singer began during her freshman year at Penn State Altoona. She started learning various art songs and arias in her voice lessons with Dr. Bonnie Cutsforth-Huber, and she quickly fell in love with the craft. Since then, Brandis has been involved in several performances both locally and abroad -- one of them being a concert in Italy in July of 2019. Additionally, she was a winner in the GCC Music of America and Art of Art Song competitions, and she was a semi-finalist in the NATS competition this past November. Brandis is an Integrative Arts major focusing on vocal performance and will graduate this May. After graduation, she plans on attending graduate school and advancing her career as a performer.
