Jing Fan has studied the violin since age 3. Under the direction of Rebecca Henry, she is a pre-conservatory student in Peabody Institute of the John Hopkins University. She is in 8th grade at Burleigh Manor Middle school. She plays in many different ensembles, such as the Peabody Youth Orchestra, the Pre-Conservatory Violin Program, and her school’s Chamber Orchestra and Church orchestra. She won the Maryland State Music Teachers Association competition and were the runner up of the Columbia Orchestra competition and Peabody concerto competition. In her free time, she likes to read and relax with her friends.
