Danny Sungin Park, age 16, has played cello since the first grade and has studied for eight years. He is currently a sophomore at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School. Danny's awards include Second Place Winners in the 2018 Glory International Music Competition; First Place in the 2017 SYMF Young Cellist Category: First Place in the 2017 Beach cities Scholarship Audion ; a Musicianship Award in the California Music Clinic Music Competition; First Place, with an invitation to play at Carnegie Hall, in the 3rd Young Muse International Competition; First place in the 2016 LA Violoncello Society; Honorable Mention in the 2016 ASTA-LA Finals; Third Place 2015 MATC VOCE music and Ensemble State Finals. He passed the Level 10 advanced panels Certificate of Merit this year. He's joining the current Palos Verdes Regional Orchestra.
