Dane Gerdes is a student at Suncrest Elementary School in Morgantown, WV. He has been playing piano for five years under the instruction of Dr. Juliana Yap. Dane won first place in the Morgantown Young Pianists Competition in September 2017. Dane is an actor with the Morgantown Theatre Company and recently starred as Schwartz in their production of A Christmas Story the Musical. Dane enjoys soccer, basketball, art, and math.
