Maggie Kerr has been playing cello for eight years and piano for ten years. She is the winner of seven RCM Gold Medals for her achievements in these instruments. She was a cellist in the New Brunswick Youth Orchestra for three years. In 2017, she won first prize in the Intermediate Strings category at the NB Provincial Music Festival. Most recently, she won first and second prize at the 2018 NBRMTA Music Competition for piano and cello, respectively. She studies piano with Barbara Marks and Dr. Stephen Runge and she studies cello with Paul Pulford.
