Jimin Koo, 16, is a junior at Cupertino High School. She currently studies with Davis Law at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Pre-College Division. Jimin has been a member of California Youth Symphony Senior Orchestra since 2019 and was previously a member of Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra. She is a part of her school’s Chamber Orchestra, and has participated in the 2021 and 2022 California All State Symphony Orchestra. She also performed as a soloist with the Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra in 2016 as a winner of the annual concerto competition, and won awards in the Korea Times Music Competition, AFAF Romantic Music Competition, Silicon Valley Music Competition, and Junior Bach Festival.
