Hanji Fan


Hanji began to learn the violin at the age of 5 with Mojia Yuan, who is the concertmaster of China Hubei Symphony Orchestra. In 2006, Hanji studied with Mingen Zhou, a teacher from Attached Middle School of Shanghai Conservatory of Music. In 2008, Hanji was admitted to the Affiliated Primary School of Wuhan Conservatory of Music as the first place student. In 2010, Hanji was admitted to the Attached Middle School of Wuhan Conservatory of Music as the first place student and studied with professor Guo Li, who is the head of the string department of Wuhan conservatory of Music. In 2014, Hanji went to the Central Conservatory of Music to study with the professor Weidong Tong, who is the head of the string department of Central conservatory of Music.

In 2016, Hanji was admitted to music colleges in the U.K. and France with scholarships, such as Royal College of Music, Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, Royal Northern College of Music, and Conservatoire de Lyon, France. From 2016, he was studied undergraduate course at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, with highest scholarship and studied with professor Jiafeng Chen.

At now, he is studying postgraduate course at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, with highest scholarship and studying with professor Nathaniel Vallois and Oliver Wille.
