Djina Alicante-Stuesse is in the 8th grade and has been playing violin for 9 years. This is her first international competition. She currently studies with Shelley Livingston of Durham, North Carolina and plays in a youth orchestra at Duke University. She also plays viola in her school orchestra. When she's not practicing, Djina loves to play basketball and soccer, create digital art, read, write, and hang out with her friends.
