Caitlin M. Towell, a soprano from Glen Carbon, Illinois, is in her second year of the Lyric Theatre Program at the University of Illinois-Urbana/Champaign, is a member of the University’s Chamber Singers, and studies voice with Dawn Harris and coaching with Michael Tilley. She loves performing and strives for a career in sung theatre. Earning first place in the Lower University Classical and honorable mention in the Lower University Musical Theatre divisions for the Central Region of the NATS fall student auditions, Caitlin will participate in both division finals in summer 2022. She has also advanced to the semifinal round for the Teen Classical division in the 2021 Music International Grand Prix and was a finalist in the 2021 Classical Singers Fall Online Competition for the University/Preprofessional Level in the Musical Theatre category. Caitlin is simply grateful for any opportunity that challenges and inspires her on this musical adventure.
