Yuyao Deng , 12 years old, was born in Hubei, China. She began studying the violin at the age of 6. She is currently a student at Central Conservatory of Music Middle School, where she is studying with Lin Qi. Yuyao started showing immense musical talent from a very young age, which in time led her to win some of the most prestigious competitions, including Absolute First Prize in 2019 Singapore International Music Festival Western Instrument Championship; Gold Prize in 2017 Golden Beijing Music Festival Competition; and Gold Prize in Renowned Composer Zili Li 60 Years Composing Anniversary Competition. Praised by audiences and musicians alike for her beautiful tone, commanding technique and musical depth, Yuyao has her eyes set on becoming a great musician.
