Yuxin Du was born in 2005 in Beijing. She is currently a Central Conservatory of Music Middle School student under the guidance of Prof. Yuan Chen and Ximiao Zuo.
Yuxin showed her musical talent from early days. She received Thrid Prize at CCOM Middle School Scholarship Competition, Finalist Prize of 2018 National Youth Cello Competition, First Prize at 2017 Qiqin Cup International Cello Competition and First Prize at the Beijing Haidian Arts Festival Cello Competition.
As an active chamber musician, she is the member of “Skylark Quartet” and “Four Season Chamber Ensemble”. She received “Best Baroque Performance” at 2019 Shanghai International Chamber Music Festival and she was invited to participated in Shenzhen Jian Wang International Cello Festival-Masterclass at the same year.
She has premiered Camille Saint-Saëns Cello Concerto in A minor with China Youth Symphony Orchestra in 2015 and the concert DVD has been released by HQAVC.
