William Jin, age 14, is 9th grader in the Pianist program of the Instrumental Music department at Orange County School of the Arts in California. William started playing the piano when he was 6 and also played cello and violin. He was a member of the IUSD Honor Orchestra before and participated in the concert at Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall. William has participated with musical excellence in competitions and CM. He’s been selected for convention and awarded State Honor. He won several awards in competitions, including MTAC Festivals, Southern California Junior Bach Festival, Southwestern Youth Music Festival, and Satori Young Pianist Competition. Besides music, William loves math, biology, chess, and computer games.
