My name is Vikraanth Sinha, and I am a junior at Winchester Thurston School. I have been playing piano for 11 years. I began my musical studies at the Pittsburgh Music Academy when I was 5 years old, and after I graduated two years ago, I have continued privately with Jack Kurutz. In addition to several studio recitals, I have had the opportunity to participate in an annual concerto recital through the PMA with some members of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra for the past 6 years. In 2013, I performed at Heinz Hall Pittsburgh as the Steinway Society Young Artist of the Year winner. I also had the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall in 2017 as part of my honor's recital through Jack Kurutz's studio. In addition to my private musical studies, I am part of my school orchestra and the pianist for the large ensemble Three Rivers Young Peoples Orchestra. I am also the pianist in a quintet called "Pandemic Pentagon" through the Youth Chamber Connection.
