Sun Duo is formed by Ivy Sun (six years old) and Eli Sun (nine years old) from Overland Park, KS, USA. Ivy has been taking lessons since 2019 with Mr. Joseph Myers. Eli started playing piano when he was six years old. He is currently under Mrs. Ying-Yu Emily Yeh’s tutelage. Eli won the 1st Place in Grades 1-2 Group in 2018, and the 2nd Place in Grades 3-4 Group in 2019 in the Kansas Music Teachers Association State Honors Competition. Eli also received the 3rd Place in the Kansas City Music Teachers Association Junior Concerto Competition in 2020. As sister and brother, playing together is what they love to do. They are hoping to play piano duo as a team as often as possible.
