Quartetto Ardente

 


Quartetto Ardente is young string quartet founded in January 2020 by students of Karłowicz Music school in Cracow, Poland. The members are: Maria Gołdasz (violin), Aleksandra Salik (violin), Kamil Sokół (viola) and Adam Doniec (cello). They some competitions for example: in September 2020 they won the II prize at the International Music Competition “Citta di Barletta” in Italy, II prize at International Music Competition "WORLD ART GAMES" in Spain. They take part in masterclasses like Summer Music Academy in Cracow working under supervision of prof. Anna Armatys- Borelli and prof. Mieczysław Szlezer. Everyone from the group is also a member and section leader at Cracow Young Philharmonic. These young aspiring musicians are also excellent soloists, winners of International Competitions, here are the most important: The 14th Jan Vychytil International Cello Competition, Prague (III prize), 3rd Polish National Viola Competition Mieczysław Karłowicz in Poznań (honorable mention), International Music Competition “DANUBIA TALENTS” in Vienna (II prize).
