Nikolai Mckinney has been playing piano since the age of 5. Nikolai is an active member of The Junior Fortnightly Musical Club of Cleveland, a club affiliated with Ohio Federation of Music Clubs (OFMC). Each spring he participates in the Federation Festival and has earned Unanimous Superior Ranking in the piano division. In the summer of 2019 Nikolai became a 1st Prize Winner at the One World Day Music Competition as a result of it he has been invited to perform at the 21st Euterpe International Music Competition held in Italy.
In addition to playing piano, Nikolai has been playing the violin for about 2 years. Other interests include chess, swimming and lego.
