Pianist Nicole Kouwabunpat constantly aspires to broaden her horizon as a musician in diverse settings. In addition to performing at the Newman Recital Hall
at USC for achieving the highest mark for the Royal Conservatory of Music exams in the state of California, Nicole has also performed at Soka Performing Arts Center, Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts, and Orange Coast College. Her passion for music comes in all shapes and forms, ranging from playing piano concertos to a more intimate setting of performing chamber music. She has been awarded for her improvisation skills at the Music Teachers’ Association of California Annual Convention, and her composition written at the age of 10 won her an Honorable Mention in Clavier’s Piano Explorer magazine Composition Contest. Nicole is asenior at Aliso Niguel High School and currently attends the Chamber Music | OC Precollege program. She has been an active member of both her high school tennis team and the String Ensemble orchestra. She hopes to advance her studies in music in college.
