Maya has studied piano with Vera Parkin before she begin working with her current teacher Zena Ilyashov 7 years ago.She has participated in District and State Auditions in Missouri and became the Winner in 2019 in her age group. Maya has been granted Artistic Merit Scholarships for the last few years through the Community Music School at Webster University in St.Louis, Missouri in the United States.
