Leo Zang, 9, attends Lang Ranch Elementary School in Thousand Oaks, CA. He started private piano lessons at 5 and became a student of Ory Shihor and Eloise Kim at 7. He loves making his own music. He has been awarded National Award of Excellence in the Music Composition Primary Category (PreK-2) in the National PTA Reflections Art Program under the 2019-2020 theme “Look Within”. He was also awarded the California State Award of Merit in the Music Composition Primary Category (PreK-2) in the California PTA Reflections Art Program under the 2018-2019 theme “Heroes Around Me”.
