Kailey Yun is fourteen years old and has been playing the violin since age 6. She has won numerous first prizes, such as Summer Youth Music Festival in the Open and Baroque categories, Musical Arts Competition of Orange County, and the JCM concerto competition. Kailey was also a California state finalist in the American String Teachers' Association and won grand prize in the Satori International Summer Music Festival competition.
She has soloed with the Bellflower Symphony and the Southern California Philharmonic and will play with the OC Symphony next year.
Kailey enjoys participating as a member of the Junior Chamber Music program.
