Joie T Kuo is a 12 year old 8th grader in the USA. She has studied the cello with Marnie Kaller, Sofia Nowik, David Geber, and Clara Kim over the course of six years. She won two prizes consecutively in the NJMTA Young Musicians’ Competition. She was the principal cellist of the Concert Orchestra of the Manhattan School of Music Precollege Division. Joie had a solo concert at the Precollege. Currently, Joie is one of the youngest cellists in the New Jersey Youth Symphony. Besides cello, she enjoys baking and volunteering to the play the piano in church and serving in the Children’s Ministry.
