Zhang Jiahe started learning piano at 4 years old, which led her on the road pursuing music. She was accepted into Middle School affiliated to Central Conservatory of Music in April 2017 and was guided by Vice Professor Zhu Mu since then. In August 2017, joined the 7th “Aiqin Cup” Competition and won the third place in Professional Teenage Group, the first prize in Professional Duet Group, and the first prize in Chinese Music-piece Group. After a whole year of study and her continuing practice, in August 2018, she performed Tchaikovsky: Pezzo Capriccioso in B minor, Op.62 at the closing ceremony of the first year “Qingdao Master Class for String Instruments”. In Jan 2019, with the recommendation from her school, Jiahe participated in the 2nd “Zhuhai Master Class for String Instruments” and gained recognition from Professor Wolfgang Schmidt. With this encouragement, Jiahe even practiced harder at school, and she has always been up to reflect on her own performance, trying to make improvement on her already beautiful skills. At the same time, in order to gain further experience and guidance from cello virtuosi around the world, she continued partaking in more cello competition and master classes, including ""Super Cello"" Master class with Claudio Bohórquez, the 8th “Aiqin Cup” Competition in August 2019 winning the fourth place in Professional Teenage Group, the Cello Academy Rutesheim in November 2019 with Danjulo Ishizaka. After a year of improvement, in January 2020, Jiahe performed “Beethoven Sonata No.4” at the final concert of the first year Zhuhai Master Class for String Instruments. Enjoying her performance, professor László Fenyó later complimented Jiahe on her consummate skills and beautiful articulation. He especially mentioned that this piece was well-accomplished as an artwork, showing her comprehension of the context and her strong expressiveness on stage.
The International Music Competition Belgrade, Serbia in March 2020 she winning the First prize in Professional Teenage Group.
The International Music Competition Salzburg “Grand Prize Virtuoso” in July 2020 she winning the First prize in Professional Teenage Group.
The New Talent British International Youth Music Competition in August 2020 she winning the Gold award in Professional Teenage Group.
