James showed his outstanding musical talent when he started his piano journey at the age of five. In the past six years of music learning path, he is keen to accumulate music knowledge and skills in an all-round way. He passed the ABRSM grade 8 and ARSM practical exams with distinction, and won branch honors and convention honors in MTAC (Musical Teachers’ Association of California) in consecutive years. Moreover, he is passionate about composing and has won the 1st place honors for classical music composition 3 years in a roll in his school district. He is also a violinist and was invited to attend the ABRSM Los Angeles high scorers' concert.
