Ian Ting is a 9th grader at Junipero Serra High School in San Mateo, California. He has been playing piano since he was in pre-school and enjoys the challenge of learning new pieces. Ian is also a black belt student instructor in Taekwondo and an avid skier. Ian's other activities include tennis, Go Chess, and Chinese language school. In his free time Ian likes to go bike-riding with his friends, play poker, and follow the stock market. Ian lives with his dad, his mom, and his younger brother Nolan.
