Gu Haoyu started learning piano at the age of 3 and cello at the age of 6, he studied with Professor Yu Jia in the Central Conservatory of Music.
In July 2018, he won the first place in the China-Japan Music Exchange Competition;
In August 2019, he won the third place in the 8th AIQIN prize and the 3RD International Cello Competition;
In August 2020, he won the fourth place in the 2nd CelloFamily International Competition .
