Hannah Zhao


 Fifteen-year old violinist Hannah Zhao’s touching musical performances display immense beauty and compassion. She is a talented girl from USA and started to explore piano and violin at a very young age.

Hannah has participated in numerous local, regional and international performances and competitions. She performed in various concert halls including Winifred Concert Hall, Segerstrom Concert Hall in California and Carnegie Hall in New York. Most recently she won 1st place in the OCSA concerto competition at the youngest age, by record, which led her to the opportunity to play her concerto with symphony orchestra. She also won Judges’ Distinction (Plaque Trophy) Award in American Protégé International Competition.  In addition, she also won 1st place in the SYMF Open competition, 1st place MTAC Orange County Regional and State Final VOCE competition. 

Hannah has been a member of the Honors Orchestra of America Music for All. She is a member of Pacific Symphony Youth Orchestra and the All Southern California Honors Orchestra for three consecutive years.

Some of Hannah’s favorite composers are Vivaldi, Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, and Tchaikovsky. Her favorite violinists include Gil Shaham, Joshua Bell and Anne-Sophie Mutter.
