Generations String Quartet was formed in May 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic. The ensemble is centered around the educational institution, Austin College in Sherman, TX, which includes current students (Andres Hernandez' 22 and Andrew Kim '22), a former student (Jacob Martin '17-'18), and an alumnus (Rizwan Jagani '15). The group's goal is to provide a space for music education and performance for musicians at various musical levels.
