Born in Beijing, China, Flemming has received musical training since the age of 4. She studied piano with Inna Bobrova as well as aural skills with prominent professors from the Central Conservatory of Music. She is also an alumna of the Beijing Philharmonic Choir, a children’s choir in which she was an active member for 13 years.
Flemming has acquired the Diploma (DipABRSM) and Licentiate (LRSM) certificates in Piano Performance officiated by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (UK). She has also received various honors and awards from Dulwich College Beijing: Beijing Young Musician of the Year (First Place), Pianist of the Year, Performance of the Year, Accompanist of the Year, and the Musica Magna Cum Laude Award (for consecutive years of outstanding contribution and service to music).
Currently, Flemming studies Music Education at Northwestern University and takes piano lessons from Dr. Sylvia Wang. She has a great passion for conducting and hopes to become a choir director and piano teacher.
