Erika is currently a sophomore at Marin Academy in California. She was introduced to piano at the Music Institute of Chicago when she was four, and has been playing the instrument ever since. Erika became a pre-college student at San Francisco Conservatory of Music after her family moved to Bay Area in 2011. She has been studying with Sima Kouyoumdjian for eight years now. Erika enjoys solo performances as well as playing ensembles with her friends. In the past summer, she found a sense of fulfillment by teaching music theory to elementary school students. Other than piano, Erika also plays violin and loves to draw.
