Ellis Peterson began playing Suzuki violin at age four and a half. Now almost thirteen, she is a happy eight grader who is dedicated to the violin but who also works hard to balance school, sports and time with friends and family. Living through the pandemic in NYC has taught her to be more persistent and flexible: Zoom lessons aren't great, practicing alone all the time is boring, and remote orchestra just isn't the same. She is looking forward to a time when we can all come together safely again.
