My name is Ellie Nguyen. I am 11 years old, and I’m a rising 6th grader at Westbriar Elementary School in Vienna, Virginia, United States. I started playing piano at the age of 6, taking lessons with Dr. Marjorie Lee. I have learned a tremendous amount of music from Dr. Lee over the years. My most significant achievement was 2nd place winner of the American Protégé Concerto Competition in 2019, and got an opportunity to perform at Weil Recital hall in Carnegie Hall. That was a wonderful learning experience. Beside Chopin and Liszt, Debussy is one of my favorite composers for his unique style and genre of the Impressionist period.
