I am a Glaswegian (Scottish) who is Chinese by ethnicity, and have been playing violin since I was 6. It has brought me a lot of joy - I love being united with others in music through chamber music and orchestras. I also love being given the opportunity to connect with wide range of audiences. I have used music to help out in different charitable organisations including Rwanda Comfort & Lebanon Hymns of Hope.
I currently study violin with Andrea Gajic at the Junior section of Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. I also study piano as a second study there.
I performed Mendelssohn Violin Concerto with RCS Junior Symphony Orchestra there when I was 13, and performed Wieniawski Violin Concerto No. 2 at the final of Edinburgh Festival Concerto Competition in March this year.
I have played in various orchestras, both local & national levels.
At the age of 13, I became a member of National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain (NYOGB).
