Angela Tang, 16, is a junior at Sage Hill School. She began learning violin at age 9, and currently studies under Mrs. Eunhee Kim.
Earlier this year, she passed the Certificate of Merit’s (CM) Panel Level, and was invited to perform at the annual Music Teachers’ Association of California’s (MTAC) State Convention recital.
She placed 1st in the Satori Strings Music Festival for 2 consecutive years, 3rd in the Southwestern Youth Music Festival, and Gold in MTAC’s SWV festival.
She is currently a member of Pacific Symphony Youth Orchestra, and was a member of Pacific Symphony Santiago Strings for 2 consecutive years, having participated in its Costa Rica tour in 2018. She has also been a member of California’s All State Orchestra (2020), and All-Southern Orchestra for 5 years.
