Ananya is a senior at Dougherty Valley High School (DVHS) in California (CA). Since starting flute training at the age of 9, she has been an active member of her school bands and is currently an assistant band manager for the DVHS Symphonic Wind Ensemble. Additionally, she attends classes at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Pre-College, and is a rotating principal flutist in the Young People's Symphony Orchestra, based in Oakland, CA. She enjoys participating in competitions and festivals, and volunteering as a performer in community activities.
