Alaina Galt, a native of Sachse, Texas, is a junior pursuing Bachelor of Music degrees in Vocal Performance and Music Education. She recently appeared in 2019 as a Young and Emerging Artist with Music in the Marche in Italy. She is the recipient of three music based scholarships, the Hemmle Memorial Scholarship, Friends of Music Scholarship, and Lubbock Chorale Scholarship. She also serves as a scholarship student as Westminster Presbyterian Church. In the spring of 2020, she performed with Texas Tech Opera Theatre as Queen of the Night in Mozart’s Die Zauberflote. In the spring of 2021, she will return with Texas Tech Opera Theatre in their production of Weill’s Street Scene as the role of Greta Fiorentino.
