Born in 2007 in Yunnan, China, Xinrui Xie started learning violin at the age of 4 and showed her musical talent from early days. She is a merit student of the Central Conservatory of Music Middle School under the guidance of Prof. Tao Yan.
Since her debut with Kunming Nie Er Symphony Orchestra at the age of 7, Xinrui has had important concert appearances in China. She performed <Rabe’s Story> with PLA Military Orchestra at Music Memory-80th Anniversary of Nanjing Massacre Concert. She performed <Red Seal> at the Concert celebrating 91th anniversary of the establishment of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) at National Centre for the Performing Arts. She was invited to participate in 2015 Elbe Valley International Music Festival in Germany.
She won the First Prize in the XI International Music Competition- Belgrade, Serbia (2020) and II International Competition of Young Violinists, Violoncellists and Viola Players“Lvivskyi Virtuoz”in Ukraine (2019); Third Prize of Professional Category in the 8th Hong Kong International Violin Competition (2017), and Fifth Prize of Professional Category in the 7th Hong Kong International Violin Competition (2016).
Xinrui has performed in masterclasses for such artists as Weidong Tong, Kun Hu, Feng Ning and Zhou Qian. She has captured audience with beautiful sound, musician professionalism and the interpretation of the violin arts.
