Tiffany Chao, age 17, has played the oboe since the age of ten. Tiffany has participated in the Central Jersey Music Educators’ Association Regional Band and Orchestra, the New Jersey Music Educators’ Association All-State Wind Ensemble and Orchestra, the National Association for Music Educators’ All-Eastern Honors Orchestra, and the National Association for Music Educators’ All-National Honors Concert Band. Tiffany has been the principal oboist of the Bravura Youth Orchestra for the past three years and she won their Concerto Competition in 2017. In February 2020, she was one of the Gold Medal Winners of the Bravura Philharmonic Concerto Competition. She was also one of the Grand Prize Winners of the National League of Performing Arts International Young Artists Competition. In her spare time, Tiffany enjoys playing the piano, clarinet, saxophone, and English horn. Tiffany also enjoys volunteering and is a three time recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Award.
