Phoebe Rose Claeys, 9, is a homeschool student at Seton. She has a song in her heart and a great passion for dance. Under the tutelage of Dr. Adriana Janse van Rensburg, she has earned Distinction and Merit ratings on ABRSM Piano and Music Theory exams through Grade 3 and has consistently earned Superior ratings in Piano Guild of America. She won First Place in her age category at the Performing Arts Conservatory of Atlanta (PACA) voice competition as well as the American Protégé International Vocal Competition in 2019 and 2020, which led to the exciting opportunity to make her debut at Carnegie Hall. She has been a finalist and placed in the Top 10 at several international ballet competitions in Singapore, Vienna, and the United States. She has participated in numerous piano and voice recitals in Atlanta, including the Georgia High Scorers Invitational recital. She has extensive performance experience including Anastasia, The Nutcracker, Mary Poppins, La Belle et La Bête, and other local theatre productions. Phoebe Rose is also a novice level competitor in Irish dancing. She aspires to be an opera singer.
