Pelayo Ciria Capa


He was born in 1999 in Alcalá de Henares where he studied music at the Professional Conservatory of Music in Alcalá de Henares since 2007 with teacher Marta Espinosa, finishing his studies with the Final Degree Award.

He completed his training by attending courses taught by Claudio Martínez Mehner, Miguel Ituarte, Josep Colom, Marta Zabaleta, among others, and by attending the international Pyrenees Classics courses.

He obtained the first Hazen prize from the Alcalá de Henares Conservatory in the solo instrument category (2008). He has also obtained an honorable mention in the first International Piano Competition "Villa de Madrid" (2013), in the first UAX-Kawai International Piano Competition (2015), and in the FKG Talent Awards Competition (2018) .

He has given concerts in the Casa de la Moneda Museum, in the Music Hall of the University of Alcalá de Henares, the city of Madrid - within the international Festival ""Los Nocturnos de Cibeles"", in the Ateneo de Madrid, the Museum of Romanticism , in the Chamber Music Cycle in the Rehabilitated Heritage of Toledo, in the Rector's Palace in Dubrovnik and collaborated on various occasions with the City of Alcalá Orchestra.

He has participated in the premiere of Gustavo Díaz Jerez's opera “La casa imaginaria” in 2018 at the Ciudad de León Auditorium with the CSKG Chamber Orchestra.

He is currently studying 3rd of Higher Education at the Katarina Gurska Higher Center in Madrid with teachers Josep Colom and Bruno Vlahek.
