Marchesa Liu Tsz Yau, a 6-year-old girl from Hong Kong, has been learning to play the harp since she was 5 years old. After regular training of the harp for two months (Dec 2019), Marchesa started to perform in various occasions. With enthusiasm and confidence in playing the harp, she was awarded in numerous competitions.
Recently, she has been awarded First Prize in 21th Osaka International Music Competition (Japan - HK region); Second Prize in Artists of the year 2019/2020 by Great Composers Competition (UK) (Instrumentalists & Singers (age below 10) ), Rising Talents of Asia & Oceania Competition 2020 (Harp, age below 10) by Great Composers Competition (UK) and The Muse 2020 International Music Competition (Greece); Third Place in The international European Music Competition 2020 (Germany - HK region), 11th International Music Competition (Belgrade, Serbia); a champion in the competition organized by Creative Arts & Development Association, a champion in Hong Kong Angel Charity Music Festival Competition 2020 and first runner-up in Muse Music Asia 2020.
Marchesa also had the great chance to present harp in music charity event on Oxfam Music Marathon Hong Kong.
Currently, she is actively participating in various music competitions, festivals and concerts to explore and enrich her music journey.
