Joanne currently plays flute/piccolo for PVYO Symphony Orchestra and MCYO Symphony Orchestra. She was Second Prize winner in 2020 GCC International Music Competition - The Rising Talents of Americas (flute). She was First Prize Winner in 2020 GCC International Music Competition - The Music of the 19th Century (14-16 Age Group) and was First Prize Winner in 2020 GCC International Music Competition - The Music of the 18th Century (14-16 Age Group). She was top winner in 2020 PVYO Concerto Competition (Junior Division). She won 2nd Place Prize in 2020 Mid-Atlantic Student Honors Competition (Junior Division). She won 3rd Place Prize in 2019 GLORY International Romantic Music. She won 3rd Place (flute solo, all age group) in 2019 YMIC Metropolitan Solo and Chamber Music Festival competition. She won 2nd place in the 2019 Washington National Youth Music Competition with flute solo in Winds/Brass Grade 7-8 Division. She won 1st place in 2018 Mid-Atlantic Student Honors Competition by Flute Society of Washington. She won 2nd place with flute solo in Winds/Brass Grade 7-8 Division and 2nd place flute quintet in Chamber Music Division in 2018 YMIC Metropolitan Solo and Chamber Music Festival competition. Joanne won 1st place with flute solo in Winds/Brass Grade 5-6 Division in 2017 YMIC Metropolitan Solo and Chamber Music Festival competition. She won 3rd place in 2017 in Mid-Atlantic Student Honors Competition by Flute Society of Washington.
