Anthony Kongoasa started taking piano lessons when he was 7 years old. He was a prize winner in the GCC Rising Talents of Americas competition as well as a third prize winner in the Crescendo International Little Mozarts Competition. He has earned Superior ratings at the Piano Guild every year since. He started sitting for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music practical examinations in 2017. He received an outstanding report in Preparatory Test, and achieved distinctions in his Grade 1 and Grade 2 piano examinations. He had the honor of receiving the 2019 Highest Scorer in Georgia Award for his performance in his Grade 2 piano examinations. He also passed his ABRSM Grade 1 Theory examination with distinction in 2019. In the Romantic and Impressionistic Piano Competition organized by the Atlanta Music Teachers Association, Anthony earned an 'Outstanding Performer' award. He has performed in numerous studio and local performances. He is under the tutelage of Dr. Adriana van Rensburg in Atlanta, Georgia.
