Amanda Kongoasa started taking piano lessons when she was 4 years old. She has earned Superior ratings at the Piano Guild of America every year since. She started sitting for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music practical examinations in 2018. She achieved excellent results in her Preparatory Test and a distinction in her Grade 1 piano examination and was invited to perform in the Georgia High Scorers Recital. She has performed in numerous studio and local recitals. She has been a prizewinner in the Rising Talents of Americas competition and a second prizewinner in the Crescendo international Little Mozarts Competition with an invitation to perform in Carnegie Hall. She is under the tutelage of Dr. Adriana van Rensburg in Atlanta, Georgia.
