Winnie Chua
Winnie Chua was born in Singapore and received started learning piano since the age of six. She received her early training with Lena Ching at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), School of Young Talents. At the age of 14, she achieved a Distinction in Licentiate of the Royal Schools of Music (LRSM), Piano performance. She has won several competition awards, including the 1st prize in Singapore's East zone Piano competition, 1st prize in the 5th Singapore Performers’ Festival, gold in the Singapore International Festival of Music Competition Soloists Category for age 17 to 30, and first in the adult category in Brighton's Springboard festival. Winnie Chua is currently studying in the Royal College of Music in London, with professor John Byrne.
